Covenants for Beginners - Online Course
This course is designed for those new to leveraged finance and walks them through key covenant concepts including capital structure and credit support, debt and liens, value loss, and more, equipping them with a solid foundation for covenant analysis.
As is the case with our core curriculum, their learning will be supported with quizzes and case studies. Students will also have access to a dedicated online community, where they can post questions and read answers to other students’ queries. We will also host fortnightly live Zoom Q&A sessions so students can ask questions on the materials.

This online course is the ideal resource to complement your new joiner training programme. Focusing only on covenants and designed by covenant expert Sabrina Fox, the course will provide your new joiners with a solid foundation for covenant analysis so they can begin their professional journey equipped with the tools to understand the implications of covenants.
The course will enhance the value of your existing covenant analysis service resource, as students will understand the concepts summarised in the reports they publish. It will also ensure that new joiners have enough knowledge to really grasp discussions in IC and on calls with external counsel and financial restructuring advisors, which will enhance their learning rather than leaving them befuddled and confused.
